- Full Highlight: brightness through the whole head. Best when you’re sick of seeing one flat shade in the mirror.
- Partial or face-framing: lightness mostly at the top and front. Great for a smaller change, but it can leave the back looking unchanged.
- Balayage: softer grow-out and a more lived-in look. If you want a uniform lift everywhere, balayage can feel too subtle.
